5. Make sure your phone battery is charged at list 60% to 70 %
6. Drivers are must installed on your computer.
7. USB debugging mode must be enable(for enabling usb debugging mode on your phone,go to your phone's setting and then select about phone option » Scroll to the bottom and tap on “Build number” seven times to enable developer options)
8. And the last thing is, your phone bootloader is must be unlocked Click here to unlock the bootloader of your Sony xperia Z2

Procedure to Install Cwm Recovery on Z2

Step 1: Connect your phone to PC via original USB cable.

Step 2: Now a popup screen will show up on your screen,Allow USB debugging for the computer, make sure you tick the check-box and tap on OK button.

Step 3: Download the Recovery .zip file and extract it on your computer.

Step 4: Now you will see 8 files in that folder.

Step 5: Double click on 1-click-CWM-recovery-installer.bat

Step 6: Now follow all the instruction very carefully to install cwm recovery on your phone.

Step 7: When the cwm recovery is flashed on your phone your phone will be automatically restart.

Step 8: Done Cwm recovery is now installed on your phone. Now press the Volume UP or Volume down key and boot your phone into recovery mode.
