- Make Sure your phone battery is must charged at list 70% to 80%
- Install Samsung Kies driver on your computer.
- Make a full backup of your phone Like Sms, Contacts, Apps Data etc.
- This process will void your phone warranty.
- Download Odin Version 3 1.85 flash tool Download Odin.
- Download CF-Auto-Root.tar.md5 Download
Step 7: If the ID:COM port on Odin turns light yellow then your device is connect properly (Watch below image)

Procedure to Root Grand 2-Start.
Step 1: First you need to enable usb debugging mode of your phone. for that->Go to Setting >>click on General tab>>Scroll down >>click on About device>>Press 7 times on build number>>go back>>now you can see developers options above About device option>>click on developers option and tick on usb debugging box.
Step 2: Run Odin V3 1.85 as administrator on your computer.
Step 3: Now put your grand 2 in download mode by pressing Volume down +Home+Power key.
Step 4: Now you will see a warning screen with yellow exclamation mark,(Watch below image)
Step 5: Now press the volume up button to enter into download mode.(Watch below image)
Step 6: After entered in download mode connect your Grand 2 in computer using usb Cable.
Step 8: After successfully connect your phone, click on PDA button of Odin and select download CF-Auto- Root-ms013g-ms013gxx-smg7102.tar.md5 (Watch below image)
Step 9: Now click on Start button, after clicking on start button the flashing process will start automatically, after done you will see a green pass message on Odin.
Step 10: Now your phone will be automatically restart, Done now your grand 2 is rooted.
