Important:
- Make a full backup of your HTC desire 816 like (Apps contacts , sms etc)
- Make sure your phone battery is charged at list 60 %
- USB debugging mode must be enable.
- Your phone bootloader must be unlocked (If your phone bootloader is not unlocked then click here to unlock your phone bootloader and then process to next step).

- Custom recovery.exe click here to download recovery.exe
Step 1: Power off your HTC desire 816 by power key
Step 2: Now put your phone in fastboot mode by pressing Volume down + Power button at the same time.
Step 3: Now connect your phone via usb cable (USB Debugging mode must has been enable)
Step 4: Now double click on custom recovery.exe and run.
Step 5: Now it will take some time (Note-Don't reboot your devise)
Step 6: When process is complete you will be able to boot into recovery mode. Done..!!!Thumbs Up
Step 7: For boot into recovery mode first power off your device, now put your device in Hboot mode.
Step 8: In Hboot mode highlight the recovery option using volume key and then press power key. Step 9: After 3 to 4 second you will see the Cwm recovery menu..
