Step 1: First you need to enable usb debugging mode of your phone. For enabling it.->Go to Setting >>click on General tab>>Scroll down >>click on About device>>Press 7 times on build number>>go back>>now you can see developers options above About device option>>click on developers option and tick on check debugging box.
Step 2: Now run Odin V3 1.85 as administrator on your computer.
Step 3: Now put your Grand Prime into download mode by pressing->Volume down +Home+Power button.
Step 4: Now you will see the warning screen with yellow exclamation mark.(Watch below image.)
Step 7: If the ID:COM port on Odin turns light yellow then your devise is connect properly.(Watch below image)
Step 8: After successfully connect your phone, click on PDA button of Odin and select download CF-Auto- Root.tar.md5 (Watch below image)
Step 9: Now click on the Start button, after clicking on start button flashing process will start automatically after done you will see a pass message on Odin..
Step 10: Now your phone will be automatically restart. Done now your Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G5308W is rooted.
Step 11: You can also verify that your device is rooted or not by Root checker app.
